  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup cranberries, fresh or frozen
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar, for rolling

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, over medium low heat, combine the sugar and ¼ cup of water.
    ¼ cup granulated sugar, ¼ cup water
  • Cook the mixture, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved. Do not boil. Let the syrup cool to room temperature.
  • Stir in the cranberries, coating them in the sugar syrup.
    1 cup cranberries, fresh or frozen
  • Use a slotted spoon to transfer the cranberries to a wire rack to dry for 45 minutes.
  • Roll the cranberries in the remaining ¼ cup of sugar to coat completely.

  • Cranberries can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
